I learned to marble paper many months ago, and while it was a very enjoyable class, it left me with just as many examples of what not to do as what to do, and only a couple pages I liked. Still, it was a substantial stack, so I decided to bind samples together and note what had gone right, or wrong.

A stab binding made it possible to collect the various sheets, and I made notes on which marbling patterns were used as well. The covers used canvas, a new favorite for its toothy feel despite its sturdy character (can a fabric be stubborn?) that makes corners difficult.
