Pocket galleries

When I found out how many projector slides were at Art Scraps, the local art supply reuse store, I was impressed. And when I saw that some appeared to be an art history professor and classics professor’s old collection, I had an idea.

My pocket galleries are small accordion books, each page offering a window piece to view when held up to light. The front cover has a list of the images.

There are three pocket galleries, one with photos from Rome, pictured here; one of paintings by Albert Bierstadt; and one of paintings by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres.
